The hotel has free parking, which is a big plus for staying downtown. Elevators were slow; one was out of service during our stay. The complimentary breakfast had a decent variety. Our room was clean but could use some updates. Overall nice for a quick visit.

Exceptional staff. They truly make you feel like family. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is decent. Loved the spacious rooms, complete with a microwave and fridge. air conditioning needs improvement. Our first room was too warm and had a lingering odor. The second room cooled down better but required attention to details, such as loose faucets. Breakfast could use more variety over multiple days. While I appreciate the effort to refund our first night due to inconveniences, some issues should have been addressed proactively. there's potential here - just need to address the maintenance and service consistency.

During my stay, I loved that I could see the Ferris wheel at Union Station right from my window, and the stunning Gateway Arch was just a short walk away, making it so easy to step out and enjoy everything the city has to offer, like the City Museum only about 1.5 km away and Kiener Plaza about 800 meters from the hotel; plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and breakfast had plenty of delicious options. I do wish the cleanliness in some areas could be improved, but it didn't take away from the fantastic experience of my weekend strolls.

Despite paying cash upon check-in, we were charged an additional amount on our credit card without prior notice, which caused confusion and inconvenience. The lack of communication within the hotel regarding room reservations led to a lengthy check-in process and an erroneous charge for an extra room. Despite these drawbacks, the staff, especially Shyann and Stephanie, went above and beyond to assist us, showcasing excellent customer service. They even helped us find alternative accommodations when needed. the cleanliness of certain areas, such as the ceiling above the shower and the presence of flies near the vending machines, could be improved. the Pear Tree Inn has its strengths in terms of location and service quality, but there are clear areas for enhancement in terms of room maintenance, communication, and billing transparency.

After exploring the zoo , we checked out the dope dome screen film. The staff hooked us up with Zoo Family Passes and omg, the hotel even gave us 3 free drinks and chips at the evening party! Can't wait to come back!

Our family enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Saint Louis Zoo, exploring diverse animal exhibits and the exciting Emerson Zooline Railroad. The hotel's convenient location off the highway made it easy to access the zoo, adding to the enjoyment of our trip.

My wife says that a children's play area at the hotel would enhance the family experience.

Our first stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The free parking and hot breakfast were a bonus, making our stay hassle-free. The location was perfect, giving us easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit in St. Louis. The hotel even offers a shuttle to sporting events and an ideal location for future MLS soccer matches. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the linen was fresh. The highlight for me was the hot tub, which provided me with a much-needed escape. The staff did a fantastic job keeping the breakfast selection hot and fresh. We also loved the happy hour with free wine, beer, soft drinks, and snacks in the evening. It was a great way to relax and spend quality time with our family.
